How to apply
Grants are awarded to projects which meet the Trust’s objectives of funding projects demonstrating creativity and innovation, and of practical relevance and benefit to the Manawatū and Rangitīkei region.
Funding
In even numbered years the Trust plans to award $50,000 for Science & Technology and $50,000 for Visual Arts.
In odd numbered years the Trust plans to award $50,000 for Literature & History and $50,000 for Music.
The minimum grant is usually $5,000.
Eligibility
Applicants must be residents of or closely connected to the Manawatū and Rangitīkei region.
While tertiary students are eligible to apply for grants, these grants are only available to secondary school students when the application is made by a secondary school on behalf of a group project.
A person or group can make more than one application. Each is treated as an independent application.

Applications must be completed online through the Earle Trust website.

When an application has been successfully submitted the applicant will receive a confirmation email from the Earle Trust.
